Siliguri, 02nd October: In a significant achievement, the undercover cops of Matigara police station handed over lost phones to 24 rightful owners.
According to reports, in recent days, several complaints of mobile phone theft have been filed in the police station. On the basis of the complaint, the police initiated an investigation and recovered a total of 27 stolen mobile phones.
On Monday, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) of West Zone Ashish P Subba, IC and Crime Wing In-Charge of Siliguri Metropolitan Police handed mobile phones to 24 individuals at Matigara police station. The owners were elated and acknowledged the police after getting back their phones.
