Siliguri, 28th April: In a recent development, the cops of Matigara police station recovered a stolen mobile phone and handed it over to its rightful owner within few hours of complaint.
According to reports, a few days ago, Anita of Matigara area was in distress as her bag along with a mobile phone was allegedly stolen from an e-rickshaw at the Siliguri Junction area. Subsequently, on Saturday, Anita lodged a formal complaint at the Matigara police station.
Based on the complaint, the undercover cops of Matigara police station initiated an investigation and recovered the stolen handset from Matigara bazaar. On Sunday, the police called Anita to the police station and handed over the stolen mobile phone to her. Meanwhile, the woman was elated over recovering her lost handset and acknowledged the work of the police administration.
