Siliguri, 01st April: The residents of the Matigara-1 Gram Panchayat staged a protest today against the poor quality of ration. They expressed outrage and closed the gate of the ration shop.
It has been alleged that the ration shop workers are violating the government rules. Several people complained that the ration provided to them were of poor quality and were given in fewer quantities.
Meanwhile, a ration shop worker denied all such allegations and stated ration is being provided as per the government instructions.
