Marwari Yuva Manch to provide food to patients, medical team of Siliguri’s Field Hospital

Siliguri, 01st June: A 20 oxygen cylinder bedded field hospital located at Siliguri’s Tinbatti More is fully operating from Monday for the treatment of coronavirus infected. This field hospital was inaugurated by Goutam Deb, Administrator of Siliguri Municipal Corporation BoA.


To make sure the medical staff and patients are not deprived of proper meals, the Marwari Yuva Manch of Siliguri branch has taken the responsibility of providing three meals a day to the COVID-19 patients, doctors and nurses of the said hospital.


The programme kickstarted from today. During this, Dilip Dugar, Hiralal Agarwal, Ramesh Agarwal, Marwari Yuva Manch Siliguri Branch President Manoj Agarwal, Gopal Sharma, Umesh Garg, Mahesh Dalmia, Manish Bajaj, Secretary Ashu Agarwal, Treasurer Vikram Goyal, Ajay Chaudhary among others were present.

It is to be noted that the hospital has been set up under the joint venture of Liver Foundation West Bengal, Indian Chamber of Commerce, Siliguri Welfare Organization, and Forum for Humanity Welfare Organization. Such an initiative has been taken to provide proper treatment to helpless COVID patients.
