Naxalbari, 12th January: A marathon race has been organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda under the initiative of Naxalbari Shri Ramakrishna Ashram. Additionally, several other programs are also scheduled to be held throughout the day.
This event was inaugurated by Siliguri SSB IG Shri Sudhir. During this, Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh was present.
Reportedly, on Friday, a marathon race was organized from Kadma More to the Ashram of Panighata. The event witnessed the active participation of both women and men. After the event, the winners of the race were awarded prizes. In addition to the marathon, a grand procession, drawing competitions, dances, music, including other cultural programs have been organized.
