Naxalbari, 12th January: The 163rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and Youth Day was celebrated by the Naxalbari Sri Ramakrishna Ashram with a marathon event. On Sunday, the marathon took place from Kadma More near Panighata to the Ashram, attracting participants from all over the area.
The event saw the presence of notable figures including Former cricketer Wriddhiman Saha, Swami Vishvadharanandaji, SSB Siliguri Frontier IG Sudhir Kumar, and Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh of SiliguriMahakuma Parishad, among others.
Following this, awards were presented to the first, second, and third-place winners of the marathon. In addition to the marathon, a grand procession was also organized to honor the occasion.
