Siliguri, 07th May: Continuing with the initiative of “Manusher Kache Chalo”, Siliguri Municipal Corporation Mayor Goutam Deb reached SMC’s ward no. 24 on Saturday night. It has to be noted that under this initiative, the Mayor will be visiting and interacting with the citizens in all 47 wards of Siliguri. This initiative aims to improve the relationship between citizens and the administration.
Reportedly, this morning, Goutam Deb started the “Manusher Kache Chalo” programme by offering prayers at the Kalibari near Tarun Tirtha Maidan. Subsequently, he went to different areas of the ward and interacted with the people and further assured them of listening to their problems and solving them. Later, the Mayor could also be seen spending some moments with the ward’s children.
