Siliguri, 04th March: Before Women’s Day, an organization named Manthan will felicitate the COVID-19 frontline women workers in the city with the Birangana (Bravery) Award. The programme will be held at Hindi Balika Vidyapith on March 07.
During a press conference at Siliguri Journalists Club on Thursday, Babita Agarwal, on behalf of the organization, said that they work for the benefit of women as well as the entire society. Hence, they decided to present the Birangana award to those women who worked as frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
