Kharibari, 06th January: The body of an individual has been recovered from a tea estate in Kharibari. The incident led to a state of mourning in the area.
According to reports, the body was recovered from a private tea estate near Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram of Kharibari. Sources revealed that the individual was distressed over family issues for a prolonged time and went missing on Friday. Subsequently, on Saturday afternoon the tea estate workers spotted the deceased body.
Upon receiving the news, the Kharibari police arrived at the spot and recovered the deceased body. On Sunday, the body will be transported to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination. At present, the police are engaged in further investigation.
