Phansidewa, 21st November: Sensation prevailed in the Sara Line area adjacent to the Kamala Tea Estate located in the Ghoshpukur area of Phansidewa after the hanging body of a young man was recovered. The deceased has been identified as Ashish Minj.
According to reports, the deceased’s mother suffered significant injuries in a bike accident and was admitted to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). Subsequently, the young man committed suicide by hanging himself on a tree. Upon receiving the news, the officials of the Ghoshpukur outpost immediately rushed to the spot.
Following this, the body was recovered and transported to the Phansidewa Rural Hospital. The body will later be transported to NBMCH for a post-mortem examination. At present, the police have initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
