Fulbari, 24th May: Sensation prevailed in the area after the lifeless body of an individual was found hanging from a noose in Jotiakali under Fulbari II Gram Panchayat (GP). The deceased has been identified as Afizaar Hussain (40).
According to the reports, Afizaar was at home since Friday morning. Later in the afternoon, his daughter spotted his dead body hanging from the noose, upon arriving home. Subsequently, NJP police station was promptly informed.
Upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the spot, recovered the body, and transferred it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination.
According to family sources, Afizaar was suffering from depression due to some family issues. Meanwhile, the NJP police have initiated an investigation into the entire incident.
