Siliguri, 08th September: A young man lost his life in a severe road accident near the dumping ground adjacent to the Eastern Bypass in Siliguri.
Reports indicate that three individuals were riding a motorcycle towards the Eastern Bypass when they attempted to overtake a truck near the dumping ground. The motorcycle lost control and the third individual on the two-wheeler was knocked down. As a result, the impact caused a fatal head injury leading to his death on the spot.
Following the accident, the other two boarding the motorcycle fled the scene. Upon receiving the news, the Bhakti Nagar Traffic Guard and Bhakti Nagar Police Station arrived at the location. The police have recovered the deceased’s body and have commenced an investigation into the incident.
