Siliguri, 02nd September: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from the Purvanchal Pradhan Nagar area in Ward No. 02 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC). Kamal Sharma (36) was found hanging in his home, leaving behind a note on his social media page, in which he blamed his wife for his extreme step.
According to reports, Kamal had a love marriage with Pooja Rani Gupta, a resident of Hemtabad in Uttar Dinajpur, in the year 2022. However, after just two months of marriage, marital disagreements emerged. Kamal, allegedly subjected to mental torment and atrocities by his wife, tragically took his own life on Thursday.
Before his untimely death, Kamal posted a note on his social media page, where he held his wife responsible for his decision. Additionally, he documented his grievances on a stamp paper.
Upon the completion of the post-mortem examination and the return of the deceased’s body to his family, they demanded that Kamal’s wife face severe consequences for her alleged actions. Pradhan Nagar police have initiated an investigation based on the note posted on the deceased’s social media page.
