Rajganj, 17th October: In a heartwarming gesture, a father organized a voluntary blood donation camp ahead of his daughter’s wedding. The camp was held at Saheb Para near Ambari in the Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block on Thursday.
Anfisa Haque, daughter of Anarul Haque, is set to be married in the coming days. Before the wedding, she requested her father to organize a blood donation camp to help address the local blood crisis. Fulfilling her wish, Anarul Haque arranged the camp outside their home, with the collected blood planned to be sent to the Siliguri Blood Bank. In addition to the blood donation, saplings were distributed to participants.
The event saw the attendance of notable figures, including Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Padma Shri recipient Karimul Haque, Ahidar Rahman, and Amit Sarkar.
