Naxalbari, 19th March: A horrifying mishap surfaced where an individual lost life after being hit by a tractor in the Hatighisa area of Naxalbari. The deceased has been identified as Mantu Ram Kishan (36), a resident of Sebdella Jote in Hatighisa.
As per details received, on Tuesday afternoon, a sand-laden tractor was heading towards Hatighisa when the vehicle accidentally hit Mantu from behind. Consequently, the individual succumbed to his injuries.
Upon receiving the news of the incident, the Naxalbari police arrived at the spot, recovered the deceased body and sent to Naxalbari Rural Hospital. The body will be transported to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination on Wednesday. Currently, the police are engaged in further investigation.
