Bagdogra, 12th November: A man was seriously injured after being hit by a passenger bus at Bihar More in Bagdogra. The injured person, identified as Dinesh Balmiki (55), is a resident of Surya Nagar, Bagdogra.
According to reports, Dinesh was crossing the road at Bihar More when a private passenger bus struck him. Local residents immediately rushed him to the Bagdogra Primary Health Center. However, due to his critical condition, he was later transferred to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for further treatment.
Upon receiving information about the incident, officials from the Bagdogra Traffic Guard and Bagdogra Police Station arrived at the scene. The bus has been taken in police custody. Tension rose when the victim’s family members arrived at the scene, but the situation was brought under control with police intervention.
