Siliguri, 26th September: An official of an organization was arrested for harassing two examinees from Bihar. Reportedly, the video of the harassment went viral on social media, prompting the Siliguri police to arrest the individual identified as Rajat Bhattacharya.
According to reports, the two youths had travelled from Bihar to Siliguri to appear for the recruitment exam of the Central Paramilitary Force. The arrested Rajat Bhattacharya has been accused of harassing the two.
The video displayed Rajat questioning the two candidates regarding them travelling from Bihar to apply for a job in West Bengal. The video of the incident went viral on social media leading to a widespread controversy and subsequently the arrest of the individual.
