Rajganj, 22nd July: Sensation prevailed after the body of a man was recovered from his in-laws’ house. The incident created a stir in the Ghauripara area of Rajganj block. The deceased has been identified as Sujan Das.
According to local sources, Sujan Das, a resident of Jalapara village in Belakoba gram panchayat of Jalpaiguri Sadar block, used to live at his in-laws’ house at Ghauripara village of Shikarpur gram panchayat in Rajganj block after marriage. He used to work in a local factory.
Sujan’s lifeless body was found hanging from a noose at his in-law’s house on Wednesday night. The Rajganj police recovered the body and sent it for an autopsy. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
