Cooch Behar, 28th December: A tragic incident surfaced where a man drowned while taking a bath at Sagardighi in Cooch Behar. However, the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Reportedly, on Thursday afternoon, the Civil Defense personnel recovered the body from Sagardighi ghat. As stated by locals, the person arrived on a bicycle and went down to the ghat to take a bath. However, as the person did not return from the ghat, the local people informed the matter to the Civil Defense.
Upon receiving the news, the Civil Defense personnel arrived at the spot and recovered the person’s deceased body.
