Bagdogra, 13th March: A tragic incident surfaced where an individual lost his life after being hit by a train on the railway line adjacent to Singhijhora Tea Estate in Bagdogra. The deceased has been identified as Sunil Oraon (35), a resident of Singhijhora tea plantation. The incident left the area in a state of mourning.
As per reports, the individual died after being hit by a train while attempting to cross the railway track. Upon receiving the news, Bagdogra Police and Railway Police arrived at the spot, recovered the deceased body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination.
