Naxalbari, 02nd August: Sensation prevailed after an unidentified individual met with a tragic fate after being struck by a moving train on the railway tracks near Hatighisa Toll Plaza of Naxalbari.
As per the reports, the lifeless body was found on the train tracks on Wednesday. Witnesses stated that the individual was hit by a passenger train traveling from Siliguri to Katihar in Bihar, leading to the fatal accident. Subsequently, the authorities, including Naxalbari police and Railway police, were alerted and reached the scene promptly. An investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
