Siliguri, 07th June: Panitank Outpost police have arrested Mohammad Shahnawaz Khureshi (34) from Gaza Colony, Ward No. 06, Siliguri, in connection with a theft. Khureshi was found in possession of a stolen scooter, cycle, and several mobile phones.
Reportedly, the burglary occurred on June 4 at a residence in the Hakim Para area. Following the owner’s complaint on June 6, police apprehended Khureshi near Kanchenjunga Stadium. During interrogation, he led police to the stolen items.
The accused has been presented in Siliguri court, while the police continue their investigation into the case.
