Siliguri, 29th January: Siliguri police have arrested a man with a significant quantity of domestic and foreign liquor.
According to reports, illegal liquor trade had been ongoing in the Tikia Para Bazar area for several days. Acting on this information, Siliguri police conducted a raid on Tuesday night, during which a man named Ramnath Paswan was apprehended. He is a resident of Sarvahara Colony, Ward No. 28.
Police sources revealed that Paswan had been running an illegal liquor business in Tikia Para Bazar for some time. Both domestic and foreign liquor were recovered from his possession.
The arrested man was presented before the Siliguri court on Wednesday.
