Siliguri, 09th February: Based on a tip-off, the Matigara police launched an operation in front of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) office near the North Bengal University and arrested a man, identified as Rabindranath Mandal along with 305 grams of brown sugar worth lakhs. Reportedly, he is a resident of Hingalganj of North 24 Pargana.
The arrested accused was produced before the Siliguri court on Sunday. The Matigara police have launched an investigation into the incident.
