Kharibari, 17th August: A man has been arrested for killing three people, including a woman, over a family dispute. The incident surfaced from the Deepa Line area of Sachindra Chandra Tea Garden under Kharibari Police Station.
It has been learned that on Monday night, a man named Marianus attacked Mahru Oraon, Pena Oraon, and Albert Minj, severely injuring them. They were rescued and rushed to Kharibari Rural Hospital, where the doctors declared Mahru and Pena dead.
On the other hand, due to the critical condition of Albert Minj, he was shifted to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Later that night, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, the Kharibari police arrested the accused Marianus and sent him to Siliguri court today. An investigation has been launched into the whole incident.
