Siliguri, 11th March: During the election campaign in Siliguri’s Ward no-23 this morning, Siliguri assembly Trinamool candidate Omprakash Mishra stated that the West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee was deliberately attacked in Nandigram yesterday.
Mishra went out to campaign this morning and had a long talk with the workers while having tea at the Suryanagar grounds in Ward No. 23. In view of the Nandigram incident, he stated that the Election Commission should take full responsibility for the incident and punish the culprits after proper investigation.
