Siliguri, 12th March: The Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress (TMC), on Friday, took to the streets opposing the alleged attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram.
Reportedly, a silent protest rally was taken out from Siliguri’s Baghajatin Park. Siliguri assembly TMC candidate Om Prakash Mishra, Ranjan Sarkar, and many others were present in the rally.
On the other hand, a protest rally led by Goutam Deb was taken out from Ashighar more under the Dabgram Fulbari assembly constituency. The party leaders participated in the rally with black flags and tying black cloths over their mouths.
