Siliguri, 25th March: Mamata Banerjee, supremo of the Trinamool Congress, conducted a series of public meetings across multiple Assembly constituencies in North Bengal on Wednesday as part of the party’s campaign for the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections. She began her day with a rally in Maynaguri, addressing a large gathering.
From Maynaguri, she travelled by helicopter to Jabravita in the Dabgram–Fulbari Assembly constituency, where she addressed a public meeting in support of Trinamool candidate Ranjan Sil Sharma. The meeting saw the presence of several party leaders, including Jalpaiguri candidate Krishna Das and Siliguri candidate Gautam Deb.
Following the Jabravita programme, Mamata Banerjee proceeded to Naxalbari, where she addressed another public meeting in support of Trinamool candidate Sankar Malakar. The day-long campaign featured back-to-back engagements across key constituencies in North Bengal.
During her speeches, Mamata Banerjee strongly criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party on multiple issues while also highlighting the achievements of the state government, setting an assertive tone for the upcoming electoral battle.
