Islmapur, 30th October: Sensation prevailed after a major fire broke out at Islampur Power Department.
Reportedly, the fire broke out at a power substation near Milan pally in Islampur. Upon receiving the news, the firefighters reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
The locals accused the authorities of negligence as a fire broke out at the same place a few days ago.
Raja Saha, an on-duty official of the power department, said that the fire broke out from the transformer oil. The incident has been reported to the higher authorities.
