Siliguri 30th September: In a significant development, the request for the renovation of Mahabirsthan and DI Fund Market came up in the ‘Talk to Mayor’ program where Mayor Goutam Deb assured that the market will be completely renovated.
According to reports, on Saturday, during the “Talk to Mayor” program the Mayor listened to a total of 22 complaints. Following this, he gave assurance to solve several vital issues including road repairs and illegal construction.
The Mayor also stated that several citizens of the city have urged to renovate the DI Fund market and Mahabirsthan fish and vegetable market. Following the appeal, the Mayor assured that both the markets will be revamped in the near future.
