Madhyamik Exams from Monday, Siliguri Metropolitan Police on alert

Siliguri, 07th February: The Madhyamik Exams are set to begin on Monday, and the Siliguri Metropolitan Police have made extensive preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of the secondary examinations.


DCP (Traffic) Biswa Chand Thakur informed during a press briefing on Friday that special arrangements will be in place to prevent any untoward incidents and to assist candidates in reaching the exam centers without any hassle.

There are 36 exam centers under the jurisdiction of seven police stations within Siliguri Metropolitan Police. Police personnel will be deployed at all exam centers, with additional forces assigned to maintain a smooth traffic flow.


About 25 motorcycle mobile vans will be stationed at key exam centers across the city. If any candidate is late, they will be transported to the center quickly on a motorcycle. Candidates can avail of this emergency service by dialing 100 or 2662210.
