Madhyamik exams begin today with strict surveillance by the board

Siliguri, 10th February: The Madhyamik (Secondary) exams began today with a total of 9,84,753 candidates registered across the state.


The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has taken swift measures to ensure that no problematic incidents occur during the examination. This year, in addition to extra facilities, strict monitoring has been set up at exam centers, as informed by Suprakash Roy, the Convenor of the Darjeeling District Plains, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

Roy mentioned that no exam centers in Siliguri are notorious for cheating among students; however, the board will strictly supervise all centers. The Siliguri Police Commissionerate has implemented tight security, including police personnel and drones for monitoring the exam centers.
