Siliguri, 21st April: On the occasion of Ramnavami, celebrations were on low key due to the second wave of COVID-19. A small procession was organized at Siliguri Eastern Bypass on Wednesday. 150 people were present in the procession.
On behalf of the Ramnavami Mahotsav Samiti, Ranjit Mandal said there were 150 people in the procession and all of them were asked to wear masks. Monitoring was done to ensure that the celebrations were carried out in compliance with the health rules. Besides, processions have been postponed in different places this year due to the pandemic situation.
