Siliguri, 02nd September: The ‘Loud and Clear’ group has announced plans for a major protest in Siliguri in response to the R.G. Kar incident. The demonstration is scheduled for September 4 at 3:00 PM at the Mahatma Gandhi More (Airview More) where people from various sectors of society will gather.
The organizers have called upon the residents of the city to unite in a protest march with torches. During a press conference on Monday, members of the group stated that the protest would feature a peaceful demonstration through songs, slogans and a street play to express dissent. Additionally, the protest will address the rising number of rape incidents across the country.
