Siliguri, 22nd January: On the occasion of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony in Ayodhya, a ceremonial worship of Lord Ram was held at the North Bengal University (NBU).
According to reports, on Monday, the devotees from the university offered prayers and worshiped Lord Ram near the Vidyasagar Mancha on the premises of the Shiva Temple. The event witnessed the presence of university professors, students, and the staff of the university.
In this regard, NBU student Abhijit Roy stated that the devotees of Lord Ram have gathered together to pray. Additionally, 1,111 lamps will be lit, and ‘Prasad’ will be distributed in the evening to mark the occasion.
