Lokenath Brahmachari 134th Annual Tirodhan Utsav celebrated with ‘Nagar Parikrama’ in Rajganj

Rajganj, 29th May: On the occasion of Loknath Brahmachari’s 134th Tirodhan Day, a Nagar Parikrama was organized in Rajganj with the aspiration of world peace. The grand procession was orchestrated by the Aakrigachh Banabhasa Adi Lokenath Mandir Committee.


The procession commenced from the temple premises, traversing approximately ten kilometers through Gandar More, Radharbari, Putimari, and Balaram, before concluding back at the temple. The event witnessed the participation of a large number of devotees, riding on decorated floats and motorcycles.

In this regard, the Secretary of the committee, Bhavatosh Dutta, stated that the event has been conducted for nearly 40 years in the location. The Nagar Parikrama was held to extend their wishes for world peace on the occasion of Loknath Brahmachari’s 134th Tirodhan Day. This marked the second consecutive year of organizing the procession by the committee.
