Malda, 10th April: Sensation prevailed after large quantities of liquor were recovered upon searching an ambulance owned by a voluntary organization in Malda.
Three youths, identified as Bablu Saha, Somnath Das and Abhijit Haldar have been arrested in the incident. The arrested accused have been kept in the custody of Habibpur police station.
It was reported that the Habibpur police conducted a Naka checking in the Malda-Nalagola State Highway area amid the ongoing lockdown and recovered large quantities of liquor from an ambulance. The police have launched a further investigation into the incident.
