Bagdogra, 28th February: The residents of Bagdogra staged a protest on Friday as the Gram Panchayat Pradhan did not receive proper medical services at the Bagdogra Primary Health Centre.
It was reported that the Upper Bagdogra Gram Panchayat Pradhan Kanchan Khushwar visited the Bagdogra Primary Health Center around 5 pm to get his blood pressure checked. However, the on-duty nurse asked him to visit the hospital the next day.
Kanchan Khushwar stated that despite promising to give a 24-hour service to the patients, no proper services are provided to the visitors. He further stated that the matter has been reported to the Hospital In-charge, who assured of investigating the entire incident.
