Rajganj, 12th March: The dilapidated roads along the Sipaipara-Bat Pakurtala More under Fulbari-2 Gram Panchayat have become the key reasons for several accidents in the area.
The locals alleged that the said area is lying in a pitiful condition for the past 3 years due to which the locals are facing a lot of difficulties. A large number of vehicles ply through this route which risks the lives of many. It has been further alleged that the area remains submerged underwater during the monsoons. Despite discussing the matter with the administration several times, no settlement has been provided yet.
In this regard, Gram Panchayat Pradhan Dilip Roy stated the matter has been reported to Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA).
