Rajganj, 22nd August: The condition of the state road connecting Sahudangi-Ambari has been lying in a deplorable state, resulting in a surge of daily accidents. Troubled by the unsafe state of the road, local residents came together to demand immediate repairs. The road, in a state of disrepair for several months, witnesses a steady flow of vehicles and pedestrians each day. However, the presence of numerous potholes along its length has led to a continuous string of minor and major accidents.
Adding to the predicament, the closure of the road leading to Gajoldoba has directed a heightened volume of traffic onto this route. As a result, residents are now urging swift remedial measures to be undertaken. Samijudin Ahmed, the Pradhan of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat, also spoke on the road’s deteriorating state and asserted to take the matter to higher authorities to expedite the essential road repairs.
