Rajganj, 11th November: The 10 km paved road from Rajganj Post office more to Chaulhati is lying in a pitiful condition for the past several years. Hence, the locals demanded repair of the road before the next assembly elections.
Reportedly, the residents of several villages, students of schools and colleges face difficulties during their daily commute.
Locals said that due to the dilapidated condition of the road, taking a patient to the hospital becomes extremely difficult. They further alleged that despite reporting the matter to the administration several times, no necessary steps have been taken yet. Therefore, they demanded repair of the road before the Vidhan Sabha polls.
Local panchayat member Alima Begum said that the administration was informed in this regard earlier.
