Siliguri, 14th May: City dwellers have expressed their concerns over unregistered e-rickshaws running in Siliguri.
According to reports, the presence of a large number of e-rickshaws in the city, including the unregistered ones, has given rise to severe traffic congestion. Despite efforts by the police administration to curb their presence, the problem persists, leaving residents and commuters increasingly agitated.
From city auto drivers to motorcyclists and pedestrians, everyone is impacted due to the presence of unchecked e-rickshaws in the city. Residents have expressed concern over traffic congestion due to the rising number of e-rickshaws. Consequently, the people are questioning the administration’s role in addressing the issue.
