Rajganj, 14th August: In a brazen daylight incident, a young man committing theft was apprehended by vigilant locals and handed over to the police. The incident took place this afternoon in Jotiyakali of Fulbari-II Gram Panchayat.
According to reports, the youth was attempting to steal a boundary gate in the area. Upon realizing the presence of locals, he tried to flee but was nabbed. Following his capture, the police were promptly notifed. New Jalpaiguri police arrived at the location and took the youth into custody.
