Siliguri, 05th January: The body of an individual was found at the Tinbatti More area near Siliguri, creating a stir in the locality.
According to local sources, the deceased was a resident of Shaktigarh and had reportedly been living on the streets near Tinbatti More for a long time. On Sunday afternoon, locals noticed the individual lying motionless and alerted the authorities.
Upon receiving the information, the NJP police arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination at the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
Family members of the deceased arrived at the location shortly after the news broke. The police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death.
