Phansidewa, 28th March: In a rare sighting, two leopards were seen fighting on a tree grove in Bijlamoni Tea estate in Section No. 13, Phansidewa.
On Friday morning, tea workers saw two leopards fighting in a tree grove while plucking tea leaves. Later, the leopards somehow managed to escape. The incident caused panic in the tea estate. Upon receiving the news, the Ghoshpukur Forest Department rushed the spot.
