Alipurduar, 06th February: An adult leopard was found trapped in a cage which was laid by the forest department in a tea garden in Dooars. The garden workers spotted the leopard on Saturday morning, in Section No. 21 of Gargenda tea garden in Madarihat.
As soon as the news was received, the forest personnel of Jaldapara Forest Department reached the spot and recovered the leopard. As per the report, the wild animal has been taken to South Khabar Badi Chita Bagh Rehabilitation Center.
