Alipurduar, 24th February: A leopard was trapped in a cage planted by the forest department in the Tulsipara Tea Garden of Madarihat in the Alipurduar district.
According to sources, the workers sighted the said leopard trapped in the cage between Sections 2 and 3 of the Tulsipara Tea Garden, on Monday morning. The forest department was immediately informed about the incident. Upon receiving the news, the forest personnel of the Lankapara Range reached the spot and took the leopard to South Khairbari.
