Siliguri 10th March: A Leopard entered Damragram area of Siliguri causing terror to the residents before it fell into an empty well.
According to the information received, on Sunday night, the leopard had entered the area which scared the residents and made them lock themselves in their houses.
Subsequently, the information was given to the forest department. Upon receiving the news the forest department personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the leopard by darting two rounds of tranquilizer.
Forest officials stated that the leopard would be released back into the forest after first aid.
