Naxalbari, 27th August: A leopard’s carcass was discovered in a drain within the Vijaya Nagar Tea Estate at Hatighisa in Naxalbari on Tuesday, causing alarm among the workers.
The lifeless leopard was spotted by workers in Section 1 of the tea estate early in the day. The news quickly spread, leading locals to gather at the scene. The discovery triggered panic among the workers.
