Jalpaiguri, 12th February: Based on a tip-off, the Kotwali police launched an operation at the Jalpaiguri’s Goshala More, this afternoon and arrested 2 men along with large quantities of sedatives worth around 2 crore rupees. A truck has also been seized in connection to the incident.
As per the report, 45 kg opium, 1 kg brown sugar and 10 kg cannabis were recovered from the truck which was heading towards the area from Imphal, Manipur.
